I have to agree with Kat on this one. I lived in San Diego for 9 years, and left due to my daughter living in the Northeast (Southeast Mass). My best advice to you if you haven't already moved is don't do it! I thought the same, real people and friendly. Ha! I heard from many that they loved Mass, easier to say when you don't live here anymore. I am moving back to San Diego in less than 2 months, and I can't wait. The people out here are not very friendly. The vast majority that live in the Northeast, well at least Massachusetts, are not cultured whatsoever. I have lived in many of different places, did nine years in the military and just simply cannot adapt to this place. You'll see if you haven't already, "the grass is not always greener on the other side". San Diego here I come!
